IGO Promo can print shirts from different materials. For example, we have t-shirts made of standard materials, cotton, and polyester. But of course, we also offer sustainable alternatives such as an organic shirt which is made of 95% GOTS certified cotton and 5% recycled polyester. This way, you immediately make an ecologically responsible choice if you want to have t-shirts printed with a message. In addition, you can choose from various printing techniques such as screen printing, (digital) transfer or engraving. Whichever print you choose, we ensure that it remains visible for a long time. 6 tips to wash your clothes with print
It is important to print T-shirts of the right quality. We therefore pay extra attention to the quality of the material in combination with the print. Do you want to ensure that the print on your clothing remains visible for an extra long time? Then it is wise to wash your t-shirts carefully. Use the following tips:
- Wash printed clothing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees
We even recommend washing your clothes at 30 degrees, but absolutely no warmer than 40 degrees. The higher you wash the shirt, the faster it will shrink or the print will fade. - Always wash T-shirts inside out
By washing the shirt inside out, the print will remain beautiful for longer. In this way, you protect the print against hooks or zippers from other clothing and the roughness of the washing drum, which makes the print fade sooner. It is therefore wise to always wash clothing inside out. - Sort by colour
By sorting your clothes by colour and washing only with the same colours, you keep your clothes beautiful for longer. For example, when you mix light with dark colours, both colours will fade or become faded. Sort your laundry by coloured laundry, light laundry, and dark laundry. Never wash coloured t-shirts together with white t-shirts! - Do not put clothes in the dryer
As tempting as it may seem to dry a garment quickly, don’t put it in the dryer! This can cause the print to warp and shrink. Let printed t-shirts dry on a drying rack that you place indoors or outdoors. As long as you do not place the shirts in direct sunlight, they can still discolour. - Choose a good detergent
When washing printed t-shirts, avoid detergents with aggressive substances such as bleach. These can affect the printing in the washing machine. Choose a soft, liquid detergent. A fabric softener is not necessary! - Iron printed shirts inside out
We always advise not to iron the print directly. Choose to place the shirt inside out on the ironing board. Set the iron on a low setting. Use the iron to smooth the shirt.
